Easy 5 Stars
As an adult, reading YA fantasy has the potential to feel like you’re being talked down by the narrator. I never felt like this was the case at any point, it’s just straight-up a fantastic fantasy novel…I just couldn’t put this book down. This sounds dramatic, but I feel like reading this healed my inner child. I stayed up past 2am just to read “one more chapter”. I swear I haven’t done that since at least high school.

A Shattered Truth
Wow!
This book is incredible. Profound. Moving. Addictive. It is so powerful that I kept having to put it down, to marinate in the depth, but then pick it up again because it is irresistible. This is an incredible story about memory, the possibilities of the future, love, friendship, family, courage, sacrifice, and how those in our past continue to affect us now. There is magic, romance, grief, joy, and so much courage. This is the kind of story that writes itself on your heart.
